EDIT: Yet another very positive experience at Interwest. My old(er) stereo amplifier had a couple of minor issues lately, and I wouldn't trust this magnificent beast to anyone else. Interwest helped with both issues quickly, competently, and at the right cost. They talked me through everything and went out of their way to do the right repair, not just the profitable one, saving me time and money in the process. Cheers to Interwest!
Randy was exceptional! He ran a quick diagnostic on my turntable, and discussed clearly what was needed and explained what I would get after the service. The final results were fantastic. The turntable performs superbly, and they cleaned it up so it looks like new. I wish I had before and after pictures to post.
Pure competence. They know electronics and how to get them working right and looking great. They get the job done correctly, every time.
My dad and I have sent lots of high-end items through Interwest, and wouldn't trust this equipment to anyone else. They always do a great job and they won't cut corners on you. If you want it done cheap and fast, these might not be your guys (though my last order was done sooner than I expected) -- but don't you dare subject your nice equipment to service anywhere else. These guys are the only game in town that can really keep your electronics basking in their current (or former) glory.
EDIT: I continue to be impressed by Interwest. They've done some fantastic work on my equipment, and have always been willing to help with even the smallest issues. Big thumbs up to you guys!!
They took great care of my old receiver after the right channel went out. These guys know their stuff and it is a joy to visit the timeless shop! I highly recommend bringing your electronics here for repair!
Randy and his team did a fantastic job getting our MC 2105 back in service performing better than ever before. Randy provided fantastic service, impeccable attention to detail, and spent considerable time sharing his wealth of knowledge with me. You can trust them to properly service your high end equipment. Highly recommended!
This shop is the last of it's kind in the valley. When this shop closes, that's it. You will have to take your chances with YouTube. YouTube can't replace the compounded knowledge of Interwest Electronics. I took my Yamaha CR-1020 in because after testing the power control board, could not figure out why the speaker protection relay would not engage. Randy took a quick look and after I discussed the symptoms, he had several ideas. Randy took the unit in the back, replaced several capacitors and the relay. He did not have to do this. He then sent me on my way saying that it might work, it might not. It did! Thank you, Randy and your team.
