Worst nordstroms ever.!!!
Within a week the watch band where it snaps on the interface, begins to cut me. Legit, blood and all. I return it, they gave me credit at only 1/2 what I paid for rack price but told my watch is at rack u can look but we have no way of knowing for sure, so yet again, upgrade the watch and return. Than a couple months, my metal band breaks, the screw that holds it broke off, while I was just standing talking to someone, it breaks and falls off. What the heck..!
So I ending up talking actually dealing with the dept manager. And when I told her about yet another problem I was having, she told me, so rudely "I'm sorry, we could do store credit, but only for around $75. She doesn't bother to look up my receipt, being really rude, almost has me in tears.! I told her I paid $3something and I really like the watch, just want one that won't break.! She denied me purchasing one. The dept manager seriously refused and didn't allow me to buy a watch.! R u kidding. I asked for the store manager, she was much sweetie and she refunded me what I paid. But the dept manager of watch and jewelry, beware, she is really strong and rude. Won't b ever comin back here
I love Nordstrom and usually find the customer service to be great, too. However, last Saturday, I had a rude and apathetic shoe salesman “help” me as I tried to find the perfect bootie to replace my current worn out Sam Edelman’s. I noted to him that I’ve been looking for a couple weeks and have even tried on different pairs at Nordstrom, and that seemed to annoy him. I think he thought I wouldn’t be an easy sell or something even though I was desperate to find the right replacement! He barely made eye contact with me, seemed annoyed every time I asked for another shoe or size, did nothing to help me find what I was looking for, and didn’t say goodbye. I definitely felt like I was a nuisance to this guy, which made the whole experience stressful. Needless to say, I didn’t buy anything and to be honest, I’m hesitant to ever buy shoes in person from Nordstrom again.
I had an appointment scheduled on Friday September 22, 2017 @ 10am with the Charlotte Tilbury counter for their special event. I came at 10 and first had my mini facial with Karri, who is amazing and did such a good job. I love the products and was ready to buy several different things. After this, I was supposed to get my makeup done with Katia. She had me sit on the chair and was gathering the supplies for my make-over, when another customer happened to stop by. At this moment, Katia turned all her attention to this particular person. It was obviously someone she had helped out before. She asked me if it was ok if she helped out this customer for a quick second. I reluctantly said "ok". Twenty minutes later I was still sitting in the makeup chair with no communication from Katia about whether she would be getting back with me soon. She was completely engaged with this other customer, doing a color match, helping her pick out samples and ringing her up, while just leaving me to sit and wait. Keep in mind that I had an appointment for this service and was very willing to spend money on product. She did not in any way seem in a hurry to get back to me. I ended up having to leave, I could not wait for her any longer. I told her that I had to leave and she said , "Oh well can you come back another time?" I said "No, that is why I made an appointment!". She just said "ok" and went back to helping the other customer. I was very disappointed with the service from Katia, I expected a lot more from Nordstrom. It was like she thought the other customer would make her more money so she just completely abandoned me. Little did she know that I was willing to spend several hundred dollars due to the fact that it is my birthday next week and wanted to buy a whole new makeup/skincare line. Myself and several of my family members shop almost exclusively at Nordstrom, but after this experience, I am not sure we will be shopping there anymore. I left completely confused and disappointed. I felt that she didn't think I was worthy of her time. I really love the Charlotte Tilbury line, but I feel that I will have to go somewhere else if this the way customers are treated. She was the only one working the counter and I understand being short-handed, but this could have been handled so much better than it was, especially at Nordstrom.
Good shoes/ clothes, but the staff is on commission and would rather sell you anything, than sell you the right thing.
I love Nordstrom. I have a family of 5 and I buy all of our clothes and shoes from Nordstrom. I love the free shipping and returns! Shipping only takes 3 days!! Buying mac from the store can be a little chaotic.
I bought a watch and within days, the battery died. Took it wal-Mary and they couldn't change the battery. No big deal I will take it back. I just bought it and they swapped it out and since they didn't have the exact watch anymore, swapped it out for another one same brand I like.!
