Ok took my rx there and I had called my new insurance, that's right hadn't received my cards yet so I called my insurance to get my info I'd need for the rx. They explicitly told me that the pharmacy had to call them to get the bin # and other info. Did as I was told, go.up.to the drop.off with the phone # in hand and explained the situation to ms gauged ears at the rx drop off window. Ps I had strep.throat as did my husband needed my meds ok!!! She rolls her eyes at me and angrily takes the paper and said she would talk to them. I go back and the bald pharmacist with the beard told me that they called my insurance and they said they wouldn't talk with them but that my rx was only ten bucks so I could just pay out of pocket. Meanwhile as he's saying this they all start laughing behind the counter. Great strep throat and he's obviously lying to me and their all having a good laugh over it. I said at that point why would I pay out of pocket if I had insurance to pay for it! Got on the phone with my insurance physically handed the phone to the pharmacist and there was no fuss or muss they gave the bin # and it only confirmed what I was told. HOW DARE ALL OF YOU LIE TO ME AND MAKE A JOKE OUT OF ME! Just do your job like the rest of us it's what your being paid to do!
The meat cutter wouldnt help me out i forgot my wallet and only had so much money. But he wouldnt make a smaller package. I truely do not appreciate his attitude. I thought you were suposed to try and make it easyer for your customers. That guy needs an attitude change. Maybe you could talk to him in spanish. Could be he didnt understand what i was saying. Either way you lost my buisness i wont be back
I feel it important for others in a similar situation to know what happened to me today at this pharmacy and to beware. My husband had a full hip replacement about 10 days ago at intermountain medical center which if you are fimiliar with this everyone knows this pharmacy is a proximity 5 minutes away from the hospital and several Doctor's offices. I feel it important that people know this pharmacy is about 5 minutes from my home. My husband had run out of pain medication and was very uncomfortable he called his Dr. The Dr. Wrote him a prescription for some additional pain medication I went and picked up the prescription showed my valid ut drivers license and was given the perscription me thinking this pharmacy was half between our house and the Dr office i stopped at the most convenient place to get his pain medicine filled. I took the perscription to the drop off window and was asked to wait a moment while the pharmacist looked to see if they had enough to fill the perscription which was 60 5mg oxycoden I said okay I stood at the window for a proximately 10 12 minutes 2 of the pharmacy tech girls both told me different reasons for the delay one said the computers were slow the other said they were still trying to see if they had enough of the pills. I was eventually aproached by i would assume a pharmacist who asked me why i was filling the perscription here. I thought this was very odd i said my husband always filled his perscriptions at smiths he does fill them at a different pharmacy which is a proximately 30 minutes away near where he works i had just picked up the perscription and came here for the convenience and because i believed all the pharmacies were linked so they would have his info. kristie the pharmacist asked why i wasn't going to his normal pharmacy i explained we live in murray he works in highland ut and he had just had a full hip replacement she told me its best to fill the perscription at the same place i asked her if she was going to fill the perscription or not i personally feel i had given her more than enough information about the situation if she had a question about the perscription she could call the dr his office is less than 5 minutes from the store if she had a concern about me she could have asked for my valid ut drivers but no she asked me several times if we planned on filling this perscription at this store me being honest said i didnt know it was convenient for this situation but my husband didnt come to this store purchases or perscriptions finally after telling this kristie i couldnt guarantee that i would be bringing this one perscription to this pharmacy she refused to fill my perscription. I was treated like a criminal simply because i was getting a perscription filled for my husband who was in pain who had just had major surgery 10 earlier i felt she talked to me like she was the police investigating a crime and because i didnt promise my loyalty to bring 1 perscription to her pharmacy she wouldnt fill it. I want to let anyone out there if they read this i work for a major credit card co customer service is always the most important thing i did absolutely nothing wrong and i was treated like a criminal i did take my perscription else where i gave them the perscription they asked for my id and filled the perscription they did their job and only their job they acted very professional and the did the job they were being paid to do which is fill the perscription not grill me ask me for my undying loyalty while treating me like a criminal ××××××beware if you want to be treated like a criminal for nothing more than filling a sick persons perscription t
