Stopped here on the way back from HD looking for parking strip trees in early october. He had a great recommendation, was knowledgable, friendly, and reasonable. Cheaper than other nurseries, but higher quality and price than the big boxes.
I have been going to Homestead Nursery since I moved into the neighborhood 15 years ago. My husband and I buy local first and I was thrilled to have a nursery just down the street from me. Over the years, Dave, Karen and I have become good friends! They are always so helpful and always have spare time to talk. I always enjoy visiting with them as I shop for my flowers. And what a variety of flowers they have! I just enjoy walking through their garden--it is so peaceful!
Love this nursery! Found it by chance because the nursery just east of it was closed and so happy i did. Great knowledgable service, can answer all your questions. Large selection and if the don't have what you need, they'll get it quickly. This is at a residential location. I wasn't sure about it when i pulled in the driveway. Took a chance and walked through the back gate on the right of the house towards the back structure and to the right you'll see the large nursery. If he's not out there, just wait a few moments and look around. I will forever stay loyal now that I've found this hidden gem.
